Pockets on a formal trouser have to be invisible, and one that gapes open ruins the line of the whole leg.

The side pockets are cut to lie flat against the hip rather than standing open, and the bags are stitched so the weight of keys does not pull them out of line.

The pocket openings keep their shape rather than stretching into a gape, and the corners hold rather than tearing under daily loading.

Good for a clean line at the hip, carrying keys, and men looking for formal pants with pockets that lie flat.
