A top that sits badly at the hip spoils the line of whatever is worn with it, and that comes down to length rather than cut.

The length falls at a point that works over a trouser without riding up and tucks in without bunching at the waist, so it works either way.

The length holds after washing rather than shrinking up, so it carries on falling at the right point rather than becoming too short to wear loose.

Good for wearing tucked or loose, everyday use, and women looking for a knitted top with a workable length.
