Most sweaters look fine for one season, then come out of storage stretched and shapeless. This one is knitted to hold its form so it is still wearable next winter.

The knit is dense and the ribbing at the cuffs, hem and neckline is firm. Shoulder seams are stitched to take the weight, and the body keeps its width instead of widening with wear.

The tight stitch resists pilling, and the ribbing springs back after stretching. Washing according to the care label keeps the body length and sleeve length the same.

Good for long term winter use, women who keep clothes for years, and anyone looking for a sweater that holds its shape season after season.
