Some wool itches enough that you stop wearing it by the second week. This sweater uses a soft yarn, so it can go straight over the skin without scratching.

The surface is smooth to the touch and stays soft after washing. The knit is even throughout, the neckline is finished with a soft band, and the seams are kept flat where they run along the arms.

The yarn holds up to regular washing without going rough or stiff. The stitch is tight enough that it does not thin out at the elbows with steady use.

Good for sensitive skin, daily winter wear, and women looking for a soft sweater that does not itch.
